Located down a private gated lane leading to the Lavender Farms of Pozos. It is a hacienda-style home that offers amazing mountain views, peaceful quiet, and a night sky unspoiled by city lights.

The house features high boveda ceilings with cupulas letting in sunshine. Each room has large windows which frame the beautifully xeriscaped desert gardens surrounding the adobe-stone building.

The Great Room is very spacious with a creatively-tiled kitchen on one end and cozy sitting area with fireplace on the other. It’s a perfect place to entertain with a pergola-topped patio providing partial shade, fountain area and fun sitting benches built into the intimate garden spaces.

Each bedroom suite has a gas fireplace & Mexican-tiled sinks and showers. The master suite has nice built-in cabinetry.

Tranquil and small, Pueblo Magico Mineral de Pozos is only a kilometer away with nice dining, beautiful walks with pleasant plazas, historical churches, and fascinating ruins from the time when San Pedro de Pozos was an international mining site. This magic town is “up and coming” with an art school, museum and gallery housed in the restored Escuela Modelo.

You can buy basic food supplies in Pozos, but you can get nearly anything you need in San Luis de Paz, a larger city six km. down the road. San Miguel de Allende is 45 minutes and Queretaro with an international airport, 60 minutes away.

There is a small, but involved, expat presence in Pozos. Neighbors on the lane where the house is located are bilingual and friendly. Go to Pozos Ahora on Facebook to check out some of the local happenings.
