The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a very comfortable Sealy Posturepedic mattress and two reading lamps on either side. There is a large closet facing the bed and a smaller one to the side; plus a little study nook with a computer desk and chair. The bathroom has a shower and large bathtub finished with hand-painted tiles from nearby Dolores Hidalgo.

 

The kitchen is completely equipped, with a full-sized refrigerator, stove with 4-ring range and oven, microwave, toaster-oven, blender, plenty of counter space, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and complete table settings for four.

 

The front room furnishings include traditional textiles, mostly from Chiapas and Oaxaca; a comfortable cushioned equipal sofa and chairs (pre-Hispanic indigenous wood and leather design); a hand-carved dining table and chairs; and a fold-out foam futon sofa-bed.

 

Plant-filled outdoor passageways run along the front (west) and side (south) of the apartment. The rooftop terrace, partially covered and protected from high winds by a row of windows on two sides, is a perfect place to catch the first rays of the morning sun, the last of the setting sun; and the starry skies all night. It is large enough for gatherings or outdoor meals.

 

The private outdoor spaces of this condo are especially nice, since the extensive gardens and tall trees of the Quinta Loreto, to the south, add to the sense of being surrounded by greenery. Come and have your spirit refreshed and renewed by all that San Miguel and this condo have to offer.
